Christians, does this reflect your emotions during the Christmas season?

The Virgin’s Child

Trembling on the edge of a miracle

The whole world holds its breath

For a virgin holds within her

womb

Our deliverance from death

In a tiny town called Bethlehem

There walks an anxious man

He leads a tiny donkey

On it's back is God's Wondrous

Plan

He trudges through the crowded

streets

Looking weary and forlorn

Till he finds a humble stable

Where the virgin's Child is born

Behold, the sky is filled with

angels

Men's hearts quiver at the sight

Now hear the glorious

proclamation

You shepherds who watch in the

night

"Fear not, oh simple shepherds

For the virgin has given birth

We bring you tidings of great joy

And peace to men on earth"

The Magi come to worship Him

Heaven's King, foretold

To honor Him with gifts of myrrh

And frankincense, and gold

Following a star bright as

morning

To the feet of the virgin's Son

They come from the mystic Orient

To worship the Promised One

He was born amongst the animals

Like the sacrifice He was to be

Though the world could barely

make Him room

He came to change our destiny

To a world that hardly seemed to

care

God's Greatest Gift was given

His Word was fulfilled, His

Promise kept

He sent us the Treasure of Heaven

He is standing and knocking at the

door

Oh, don't leave Him outside

Make room in your heart for the

virgin's Child
