Astrology and the Star of Bethlehem?

Anyone else done any reading on the Magi, the star of Bethlehem and astrology? It's interesting. In fact, the horoscope of Jesus is pretty fascinating.

I think it proves his existence.

Astrology and the Star of Bethlehem?
The Star of Bethlehem DVD has some fascinating information. Also at www.bethlehemstar.net.

In the bible the Magi were coming from afar. And in the DVD there is explained that these Magi may be of the tribe of Dan (of Israel). Because they were looking for the coming of the King, in the stars. And they did live afar. (Also, when Dan was blessed, ... I have waited for thy Salvation, O LORD!.Genesis49:18.)

But they were atronomers, not astrologers. In Genesis1:14b %26amp; let them (sun, moon %26amp; stars) be for signs, seasons, days %26amp; years:

For me, astrology is superstitious. While astronomy is science.
Reply:The Magi were Persian High Priests and they did not go directly to Jesus. they made a stop first to ask directions from Herod, which alerted him to the imminent birth of a messiah, then the Magi went on to find the baby.

Interestingly enough, this could not have happened in December as people think, but in the spring, as that was when the astrolonomical/astological signs were right for that star to have appeared for the Magi to have followed.

The date was changed hundreds of years later to coincide with a Pagan festival of he birth of the sun in the hopes of bringing more pagans into the fold)
Reply:OK What Ever you say.
Reply:Hi.

As for as I know, it is not permissible to believe in stars or

horscope for followers of 3 versions of religion of Abraham.

So when we do not believe in Horscope, how can we use it

as an argument. There is absolutely no need to Justify the

existence of Jesus. Christians belive in him, Muslims believe in him and the Jews though do not consider him an apostle of God, yet do not deny that he existed. So why to waste time on

a non issue ?
